"Marines with Washington at Princeton, 3 January 1777"
Print by Colonel Charles Waterhouse, USMCR (ret.) depicts General George Washington on horseback leading Contentinental Marines and Philadelphia militiamen in an attack against the British during the Battle of Princeton.
In January 1777, Washington and his troops marched through the snow on the way to fight the Battle of Princeton. Based on the full color, wrap-around cover for Rutgers Press this print is a revised and improved composition of the original American Legion scratchboard drawing.
