Shipping policy

OVERSIZED & HEAVY ORDERS 

Oversized packages and large orders weighing over 30 lbs. may incur additional charges. You will be notified of any additional shipping fees after your order has been processed. Customer Service will contact you to collect additional payment for shipping fees before your item is shipped. 

EXPRESS SERVICE 
Continental USA: All Express Service orders received prior to 1200 EST during normal operating days will be processed the same day. In-stock items will normally be delivered within 3 business days after processing. For Personalized or Special Order items, please allow 2-3 weeks prior to shipping. 

NEXT-DAY (OVERNIGHT) SERVICE

Continental USA: All Overnight Service orders received prior to 1200 EST during normal operating days will be processed the same day. In-stock items will normally be delivered within 1 business day after processing. For Personalized or Special Order items, please allow 2-3 weeks prior to shipping. 

INTERNATIONAL (Not including APO/FPO)

International Shipping rates vary by destination and are NOT ELIGIBLE for Express or Overnight shipping. Before placing order online, you can request an International shipping quote from Customer Service. 

When ordering internationally, you are the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. Your order may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. By law, we must declare all items at their full price and cannot alter this amount to decrease international custom fees. The general amount for the duties and taxes fee is 20% of the dollar amount of the merchandise. However, this is just a general guideline and may vary depending on the country to which the order was shipped. You should contact your customs office for specific amounts and percentages. 

We cannot control and are not responsible for any duties/taxes applied to your package. You will be responsible for paying additional charges for customs clearance. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; please contact your local customs office for further information. Furthermore, when customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates. 

If you refuse a shipment from The Book Store, you are responsible for the original shipping charges, any import fees, duties and/or taxes that are incurred on the package, and the cost of returning the package to The Book Store. This amount will be deducted from your merchandise refund. In the instance that the return fee exceeds the amount of the merchandise plus shipping costs, the package will be abandoned and you will not be refunded.
