The America 250 USMC Celebration Coin commemorates America's 250th birthday in collaboration with the Marine Corps Association's tribute to the founding of the country. The main side features "The Few, The Proud, The Marines" with the Liberty Bell image and crossed swords. The reverse side shows the EGA and 13 stars representing the original 13 colonies at the founding of America.
The Liberty Bell represents America's independence and freedom. The Liberty Bell is found in Philadelphia, PA, the home of Tun Tavern where the Marine Corps was founded.
